Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Theodore Parker writes to Thomas Wentworth Higginson advising him on conduct for his upcoming trial. He writes, "I did not say half what I wanted the other night, touching your defence. It seems to me that if you do not close your own case in court, You had better have J[ohn]. P[arker]. Hale to do that service."
