Sign.Entrance sign for African American employees of the Biltmore Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. Developed by William Candler, son of Coca-Cola magnate Asa Candler, the Biltmore Hotel in Atlanta operated from 1924 to 1981; this sign marked the entrance for African American employees. It was collected by a twenty-five-year employee, who kept it as a souvenir after the hotel became integrated.Purchase of the Tubman African American Museum.
