Description
A group of teenage African American girls, who include Charlotte Mosley, Katherine Norton, Jessie Sharp, Ethel Hawkins and Marie Anderson (later Marie L. Greenwood) and a counselor, wait for a train at Camp Nizhoni in Lincoln Hills (Gilpin County), Colorado. They wear skirts, blouses, hats, coats, jackets and sweaters. Marie Anderson wears a cap, jacket, shirt and tie. Shows baggage, a bed roll and a rolled up flag (to flag down the train).
