A city map of Springfield, Missouri, later labeled "Negro Population Centers in Springfield" with areas considered to be African American neighborhoods shaded in green. MWM Co. of Aurora, Missouri, printed the original mapit is not known who added the shaded areas to label the African American neighborhoods.
