Howe, Appleton

Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger. On verso, the delivery address is "Rev. A. A. Phelps, Boston, Mass."In his reply to Amos A. Phelps’s letter appointing him as a Vice President of the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society, Appleton Howe argues for including women in the business meetings of the Society.
