Description

A group of forty Lanao Moros were brought from the Lake Lanao area of interior Mindanao to occupy the Lanao village on the Philippines Reservation at the 1904 World's Fair. The Lanao people are followers of Islam. Street in the Philippine reservation: Moro men and women gather on the street in the Moro area of the Philippine reservation at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition. The street in decorated with poles bearing flags and what appear to be banners. A European woman whose face is turned down from the camera is talking with some of the Filipinos.
