Holograph, signedTitle devised by catalogerManuscript addressed from "Chester Park"Manuscript dated "Midnight"George Thompson details to William Lloyd Garrison his weariness owed to "writing letters all day", and reports his anticipated return to Boston from New Bedford. Thompson states his fear that his responsibilities will preclude him from giving the attention warranted to adequately prepare for his scheduled speech in Washington, D. C., and courts Garrison's assistance by requesting that he proffer some suggestions so as to help Thompson "say the right things"
