Document about a legal dispute during the mid-18th century between Argentinean slave importers and traders. It provides a rich description of the commercial slave importation system as well as the structure of the plantation system in the region of Mar del Plata. The manuscript contains detailed information regarding the number of slaves passing through Mar del Plata and the various prices of enslaved Africans imported during the four-year period.
