Holograph, signed.In this letter, William Lloyd Garrison introduces his abolitionist friend Joshua Coffin. The Liberator is causing "extraordinary movements" among whites in the slave states. Garrison writes: "I am constantly receiving anonymous letters, filled with abominable and bloody sentiments. These trouble me less than the wind.
