Holograph, signed.This letter is concerned with the affairs of a person with the initial "C." R. Warren Weston asks Deborah Weston and other family members to visit him. He discusses the commercial situation of the Civil War. He writes: "Louisiana is entering our possession, & we shall soon have Vicksburg. Gold on Hooker's retreat went to 56---this morning tis 50 1/2..." R. Warren Weston asks if Augustus Hesse was in the fight.
