Description

The receipt lists the specific pieces of land he owns; the number of slaves and livestock; valuable possessions (a carriage and gold watch); and money he has loaned to others. It also mentions that he is acting as guardian of Milly Hall. On the back, his slaves are listed individually, the men on the left and the women (with their number of children) on the right.
