Though the location is unknown, it is believed to be in in the American southwest ca 1893 in either Texas, Arizona, or New Mexico. A handmade sign behind them reads: "Finest Sugar Cured Meats". Image slightly faded to yellowish brown in center and yellow on left and right sides
