Holograph, signed.R. Warren Weston got word this morning that Mrs. Grant is better and has gone to Mrs. Kendall in Boston. [Mrs. Grant is R. Warren Weston's mother-in-law.] R. Warren Weston writes that since a snow storm has set in, "we shall not go on, I am glad enough. I don't like gadding about in winter with children." He comments that "the Union seems to be in a precarious state."
