Description
Peggy Lee was born Norma Deloris Egstrom on May 26, 1920. She was an American jazz and popular music singer, songwriter, composer and actress, in a career spanning six decades. She died on January 21, 2002. Dewey Martin was born on December 8, 1923. He is a retired American actor, appearing in many films and television shows from 1948-1978. Lee and Martin were married from 1956-1958.Photograph caption dated May 16, 1956 reads "Singer Peggy Lee and husband actor Dewey Martin sample Terry Chang's popcorn at annual Buckley Schol (sic) scholarship fund carnival at the Van Nuys Institution."; See images #00135677 through #00135678 for all photos in this series.
