Holograph, signedTitle devised by catalogerManuscript composed on reverse of a printed, typeset circular advertising a public meeting to be held in "commemoration of the leadership and martyrdom of CRISPUS ATTUCKS". The circular has an image of Attucks being shot at the Boston Massacre adorning its letterheadManuscript annotated on recto, with "20" appearing in pencil above the circular letterheadManuscript annotated on verso, with "Ms. A.1.2 v.29, p.21" appearing in pencil upon the bottom-right of pageWilliam Cooper Nell writes William Lloyd Garrison concerning the commemoration of the life and death of Crispus Attucks, admitting that while his preparations for the event, and his subsequent expectations of it, fall short of his efforts for the previous year, he nonetheless expects that it will be an "interesting" occasion. Nell states his anticipation of Garrison's presence, and his hopes that Garrison will consent to offer a "few words" at his convenience
