Building formerly housed "Brotherly Love Hall," the African American orphanage founded by the Society of Friends in 1822. Businesses lining the street include Sullivan & Sweeney, rag and feed store; J. Hunsinker, merchant; J. Neil & Sons, coal dealers; Barber & Son, Edward and Frank, painters; and Haines & Scarlet.; B.R.
