Description

Video of Dilmus Hall, part 3 of 3. Artist Dilmus Hall is filmed in the yard of his house. He and shows and discusses his art, which are mainly illustrations. A portrait of Hall illustrated by Art Rosenbaum is also present in his yard. Hall is interviewed by Art Rosenbaum and others, who ask about his art and how he spends the money he earns from selling it. Hall discusses his art and his life, and love for the United States. After the interview, the video switches to panning and zooming shots of various historical photographs and newsprints, possibly from Hall's collection. The images appear to be related to World War II, including a photograph of a ship, one of a priest or chaplain presiding over an army camp, and another of American soldiers marching in uniform. There is also an image or statuette of a crucifix, and a photograph of Arlington Cemetary from a book, and the cover page of the New York Journal declaring that Germany has surrendered. Next, credits appear, thanking Observer Television and Dilmus Hall, Production credits for Anne Berger and Steven Lovett, and Doug Loggins and Art Rosenbaum for technical support and consultation.
