Description
Skullcap formed of ivory wool felt faced with ivory cotton velvet designed by Mae Reeves. Irridescent white sequins are sewn to the velvet in a vermecelli design. Silver beaded crescents are interspresed around the sequins, with two shallow crescents meeting at the center front. Small looped silver seed bead tassels are sewn at the border of the front section of the w-shaped ears and at the center front. The interior border is lined with ivory grosgrain ribbon. An ivory fabric designer's label with black printed text is adhered to the center back interior that reads: "Mae Reeves / OF / PHILADELPHIA".
