Postcard showing photograph of a group of travelers posing at the Palace of Versailles. Charlotta Bass, editor and publisher of the California Eagle, traveled to Paris in August 1950 and spent a few days sightseeing. She then attended the Defenders of the Peace conference in Prague, and from there visited the Soviet Union. The photograph could be a photograph of some of the other delegates to the conference.
