Of the remaining 34 plates, all but the last 2 are double page, tipped onto stubs at the centerfold. Most are bird's-eye views or plans of fortified places, with a few battle scenes. Additional in-text etchings. Initials.Centered on front pastedown is bookplate of N.A.C. Embiricos.Binding: mottled calf, rebacked and repaired. Red goatskin spine label with title in gilt. Edges of boards gold tooled (where original). Page edges red. Blue silk place marker.
