Description

Silas H. Hunt Hall was originally the site of the swimming pool building. The current building was opened in July 1992 as Arkansas Student Hall. On February 6, 1993, the building was named after Silas H. Hunt. Hunt was the first African American student to be admitted to the University of Arkansas. He was admitted to the Law School in 1948.
