Description

During an oral history interview on August 12, 1982, Mr. James Rineer discusses school integration, local politics, and his career as an educator and administrator. He describes the significance of Title 1 funding, and the positive impact it made on Black schools. Rineer recalls his experiences working at Washington School and Cairo High School. Funding for digitization provided by the Georgia Public Library Service, a unit of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, using Library Services and Technology Act funding through the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
