Fundraising letters; reports on depositions; a lengthy personal profile of William Kunstler by law student Loren Ghiglione; a memo by Carmin Petrino on the possible use of a federal peace bond to protect civil rights workers; a lawyer's inside view of the Free Speech Movement's Sproul Hall sit-in at The University of California-Berkeley and his consequent arrest; a blank form for arrested COFO workers to fill out; a document about "Problems Facing COFO"; a COFO pamphlet called "Freedom Registration" which included a blank Freedom Registration form; a list of Smith's monthly expenses; Henry Aronson's resignation letter and concerns about COFO's legal program; Eugene Cotton's request to be removed from COFO's Legal Advisory Committee; and part of a letter from William Kunstler related to the car accident that killed volunteer Wayne Yancey and injured Charles Scales--these are the contents of this folder.
