Description
March 28, 1966, arraignment in Hattiesburg (Miss.) before U.S. Commissioner Jack Pittman of 12 Jones County (Miss.) men charged by the FBI with violation of the 1965 Voting Rights Act in the firebombing of Vernon Dahmer's house and store January 10, 1966, which resulted in his death.The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
