Donated by Frank Miranda.This poster was put out by the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) to support Reverend Vernon Carter during his 118 day vigil outside the School Committee office throughout the summer of 1965. He was protesting the general state of the schools and the School Committee's refusal to act on the Racial Imbalance Act. The SCLC was asking for people to support him and march with him when they could.
