Photograph was edited for publication purposesPhotograph caption dated March 15, 1965 reads, "Long way - Valley marchers began their 12-mile trek in Pacoima, which ended in Van Nuys. About half the 400 participating in the Saturday civil rights demonstration were Caucasian, including children."
