Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.William Goodell writes to Amos A. Phelps and asks about Phelps’s plan to set up the time for a Missionary Convention in New England. Goodell then mentions Prof. Upham’s “Life of Faith,” which he considers “a sly shot against abolitionists,” and asks about Upham’s position on the reforms of the age. He then expresses his enthusiasm on the idea of the “Christian Anti-Slavery Convention” at Boston.
