Art Rosenbaum interviews Allen Green, a basketmaker in Sapelo Island, Georgia. Green talks about learning basketmaking as a child in 1918 and eventually developing it into a trade. Currently is baskets are sold to people from all over the world. He learned basketmaking from his grandfather, Allen Smith, who was a slave.
