Description
Account book of an unidentified mercantile firm, probably Izcue y Arias. (Note: 1st 22 leaves are missing). Leaves 22-24 are accounting records of a merchant house, detailing purchases and sales. Leaves 39-79 are records of the Spanish frigate el Aguila. The frigate was owned by Manuel Rivero and Sons and captained by Francisco Izcue. There is a detailed account of the provisions, private and royal merchandise, and passengers aboard the ship.
