Phelps about the annual meeting of the "Young Meńs Society" where new officers of the organization were chosen. He also informs Phelps about the New England Anti-Slavery Societýs upcoming meeting in September, and gives a list of speakers for the occasion. He then discusses distribution of the ́Maryland Schemé ([a circular against the claims of the Maryland State Colonization Society]). Finally, he says the executive Committee of the American Anti-Slavery Society acceded to Phelpśs ́plan of cooperatioń with an additional provision proposed, and that the Board of Managers of the New England Society acceded to this provision
