Regarding the deeply felt impact of the Depression on the "American Negro..and the grandchildren of slaves" and calling for direct action in response thereto; recounting some triumphs of the Association and remarking on the current state of lynching, segregation, and other manifestations of racial discrimination; describing current conditions in Haiti, and briefly describing relations with China, India, and Egypt; and reprting that "on the whole, as we look back over the year... we find abundant reason for encouragement." The fifth page written in thanks to various parties and individuals who helped in Association efforts.
