Norman Lumpkin, news director for WRMA radio, is holding up a microphone in front of the podium. A clock on the wall behind King advertises Ross Jewelers, on Dexter Avenue at Perry Street. This image was taken for (but not used in) an article ("'Things Are Not Right in This Country'--King" by V. English, B. Wilcox and B. Labaree) and photo spread ("Rallying Support for Poor People's Stay in Washington") that appeared on pages 1 and 3 of The Southern Courier for February 24-25, 1968.
