Description

The scrapbook (loose pages) consists of many trade cards about confections. There are a total of 16 pages. Page two has no images on it, but is followed by one large trade card that is of a boy and two retrievers with red collars. Page three has no cards on it either, but is followed by a large trade card of an African - American man with a suit coat and top hat, carrying a bouquet of flowers and a cat. Page four has seven cards on the page. One is of a lily in a vase. Page five has five cards on the page and one is of a dog holding a sign in his mouth. Page six has four cards on the page, and one has an image of a shrieking cat. Page seven has five cards on the page, and has an image of a girl jumping rope while another holds a hoop. Page eight contains seven cards fastened to the page, and one nudged in between the top two right corner cards -- all are for Kaiser & Goodman Confectioners. Page nine has eight cards, and the top two left corner cards are for George Miller & Son, Confectioners. Page 10 has four cards all from the same company, J. H. Pine, Manufacturing Confectioner. Page 11 has five cards - two of them are in the shape of a paint palette and even have colors of paint on the outside of the painted scene. Page 12...
