Caricature of two African American masons in regalia, both in their aprons and one in a red sash, meeting with a handshake on the street and discussing the abduction of William Morgan, a white New York mason who threatened to expose the organization's secrets. The one mason, a short squat man in a blue waistcoat, asks the other, a tall thin man in a brown waistcoat, about what "'fect he tink Morgan's deduction" will have on the freemasons. The other mason responds that Morgan looks "rader black" and they will probably lose "de'lection" in New York.
