Description
Photograph of the crypt containing the body of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In 1970, during the dedication ceremony for the King Center complex in Atlanta, the remains of the civil rights leader were relocated to a crypt at the center. The reflecting pool surrounding the crypt was completed in 1977. King's wife, Coretta Scott King, was interred beside him in 2006.
