Description
At a statewide meeting of the NAACP, a proposal was put forward for various leaders to lead marches on all Southern capitals. The goal would be to pressure Congress into passing civil rights legislation. Additionally, a committee at the meeting weighed the possibility of picketing the Florida exhibit at the World's Fair.
