Description

Hampton Normal and Agricultural Institute (now Hampton University) is one of the nation's oldest Historically Black Colleges and Universities and counts Booker T. Washington among its distinguished alumni. Founded during the Civil War, the institute was officially re-incarnated as fully accredited college in 1929--the year following the filming of these outtakes. Glee Club sings two songs, including "Let Us Cheer the Weary Traveler."
