Framed Panoramic Photograph of 183d Brigade of the 92d Infantry Division at the end of World War I. The photograph is titled, [THE 183rd INFANTRY BRIGADE, N.A. / (LESS 366th INF) Brig Gen' Malvern Hill Barnum Comdq.]. The Brigade is pictured standing in military formation comprising rows of men on the left, back, and right. The men are wearing military uniforms and overcoats holding their riffles. The Brigades officers and the band stand in the central square facing the camera. The officers are wearing military informs and overcoats. One of the soldiers in the back of the central group holds an outstretched American flag. The photograph is taken at a military base. Large buildings and additional soldiers can be seen in the background. On the bottom left and right of the image, text in white reads, [© 1918 / By / Duce & McClymonds / Rockford Ill. 18-155.] and [Brigade Headquarters Staff / 355th Inf. Col V.A. Caldwell Comdq.]. The photograph is in a wood frame that has been painted black. The back of the frame is covered in paper that has multiple tears and areas of loss. A twisted metal wire connects both short ends of the frame.
