A photograph of a parade at the Georgia State Fair, Macon, Bibb County, Georgia, 1957. A pageant contestant rides down Cherry Street in a convertible Ford Fairlane. Behind the car is a Marine color guard and a marching band. Several businesses are visible in the picture: S&S Cafeteria, Kernaghan Jewelers, Inc., Sam Neel's Shoes, and Schwobilt Clothes.A project of the Digital Library of Georgia in association with the Middle Georgia Archives as part of Georgia HomePLACE.
