Biographical entry on Wiley Austin Branton Sr., the fifth African-American to be admitted to University of Arkansas School of Law. As a civil rights leader, Branton helped in fights against desegregation in the University of Arkansas and the Little Rock School District.The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
