Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Legacy catalog card identifies the place of publication of this manuscript as "Salem, (Mass.)"Arnold Buffum writes to William Lloyd Garrison about the problems of the American Colonization Society, saying, "The Colonizationists are in a sad quandry and what to do they know not." He then discusses the decision of the Lyceum Committee "not to let the Lyceum Hall any more to be open to the public," however, he tells Garrison they can have it the following night "on condition that the audience be admitted by tickets".
