Description
The following groups performed at the event: Ladysmith Black Mambazo (from South Africa); Fairfield Four (of Nashville, Tennessee); Four Eagle Gospel Singers; and Gospel Harmonettes (of Demopolis, Alabama). Doug Seroff directed the project, which was sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Alabama State Council on the Arts and Humanities.
