This folder contains materials collected by Freedom Summer volunteer Pamela Parker Allen who worked in a freedom school in Holly Springs. This folder includes early August 1964 issues of SNCC's staff newsletter and of its Student Voice, both of which announce the discovery of the bodies of the three missing civil rights workers; autumn 1964 letters from civil rights workers and local black residents still in Mississippi, asking returned volunteers for financial help, clothing, and federal protection; thank you letters from same; an account of some of the McComb bombings by a "SNCC field secretary who worked in McComb this summer"; a November 1964 issue of the Carleton College, Minnesota, Voice, in which Pamela Parker Allen's Freedom Summer activities are briefly described; a December 1964 Freedom Bulletin from the Heights Freedom Movement of New York City that announces an upcoming visit by Fannie Lou Hamer and Victoria Gray; a program from a January 1965 performance in New York City o
