Catchings, Iola

Description

Iola Catchings was born on March 20, 1910, and was originally from Moultrie, Georgia. She graduated from Libbey High School, and worked for many years as a nurse for both the Toledo Board of Health and St. Vincent Medical Center. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church for 59 years where she served on the Deaconess Board and as a member of the Matthews Circle. She was also married for 59 years to Charles Catchings. Mrs. Catchings died on August 20, 1998 in Toledo.
