Description

This is a cartoon advertising memorial blocks for sale to support the construction the Lexington Memorial Old Folks Home and Orphanage. "The home will be built of cement blocks and a memorial block will be placed in it's [sic] wall for each contributor." The drawing shows a masonry worker ("All of us") and Mrs. H. L. Walker. Readers are directed to send their contributions to the address: "Lexington Old Folks' Home dr 1832 - 9th St., N.W."
