She was originally from Fayetteville, NC, but has lived in Wilmington for 37 years. She owns and operates Sister-to-Sister Thrift Shoppe in Fayetteville with her sisters. Her husband is the pastor at Fairley's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Laurinburg.
