Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript composed in black ink on white paper. Above the salutation, the number "108" is written in pencil, and above this number in the head- spine corner, there is a small checkmark or the letter "v" also drawn in pencil.Daniel Ricketson writes to William Lloyd Garrison inviting him to the an [Anti-Slavery] fair in New Bedford next week. Ricketson tells Garrison they want Miss [Sallie] Holley come speak if possible as "Many are desirous of hearing her" and "It would in our opinion help the fair [and] the Cause generally." Ricketson also invites Garrison and Mr. [Wendell] Phillips to speak as they "always make deep impressions in New Bedford, and there has never been a time when more good could be done for the cause than the present."
