Holograph, signed.The weather detained William Lloyd Garrison in New York and prevented him from visiting George William Benson in Northampton. William L. Garrison is deep in debt and wishes to consult with Benson. Garrison is suffering from erysipelas and St. Anthony's fire. He is considering trying Dr. Townsend's Sarsparilla. They had a cheering meeting in New York.On verso, there is a printed circular letter entitled: "Anti-Sabbath Convention. To the friends of civil and religious liberty."Merrill, Walter M.
