Description
Most of the correspondence was written to newspaper editors and activists, such as Grover Hall, Emory Jackson, and James Dombrowski. In them, Morgan discussed the evolution of her political views and stance on civil rights issues, as well as her response to criticism of her published writings. One of the last letters was addressed to her psychologist, Dr. Frank Kay, less than a week before she died by suicide.
