The original release sheet reads: HISTORIC FLIGHT OF POPE PAUL SIXTH Castel Gondolfo, summer residence of the Popes, is the scene of another historic first in the precedent-shattering pontificate of Pope Paul Sixth. He becomes the first Pontiff to fly in a helicopter as he travels 70 miles to the North to officiate at religious rites. As Pope, he has flown in Jets, as a Cardinal he flew in a helicopter - but he now becomes the central figure in another first at the Vatican. GERMAN 'CHUTISTS GET READY Members of a German Army parachute team supervise the packing of their own 'chutes before going aloft to practice. They are getting ready for the international meet that attracts jumpers from 30 nations. Delayed jumps are the thing if you want to hit close to ground targets. THEY START 'EM YOUNG IN TEXAS Meet Danna (Banana) Morguloff who is a past mistress at the art of water-skiing. She's only four years old but she possesses a technique that is the envy of water skiers five times her age. YESTERDAY'S BIG STORY 1960 OLYMPICS With the Tokyo Olympic Games looming on the horizon, here's a look back at the Rome meeting in 196O. The United States wound up second to Russia, but they came through with some phenomenal wins in both swimming and track and field. Bob Webster and Gary Tobin in diving and Otis Davis, Wilma Rudolph and Don Bragg at track brought lots of glory to Uncle Sam.
